We are currently looking for a Chief Operating Officer (f/m/d) to complement our team based in Vienna. With your experience and talents, you’ll be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to make our organization more scalable, successful and efficient.


Objectives of this role:

  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.

  • Responsibility for day-to-day business operations, including client success, finance and human resources working with the team members responsible and accountable for their area.

  • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and responsibility for reports, both current and forecasting for internal and external stakeholders. Manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability.

  • Support scaling the company and achieve growth as well as other financial targets for the existing client base over the near and long term.

  • Foster the client success team and organisational unit ensuring a high level of scalability.

  • Responsibility for our international business regarding compliance to federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Support the CEO in fundraising activities by providing financial plan, success metrics and manage the required due diligence process.

  • Analyse internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading teams in the field of SAAS (or digital products) in the B2B space.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading operations as a Chief Operating Officer/Head of Operations or a similar relevant role.

  • Prior experience in working in a platform based business model is a plus.

  • High-level of understanding of all business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.

  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.

  • Prior experience in conceptualizing advanced business planning and managing regulatory issues.

  • Experience at one or more growth stage startups is a plus.

  • Fluent English.
