Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Job description

Inspired by quantum photonic technologies, our client VitreaLab is commercializing integrated photonic devices that will transform displays as we know them. Their core technology, the Quantum Light Engine, is a laser powered light source capable of illuminating AR, 3D and 2D displays with RGB light of unprecedented brightness and perfect color quality while consuming just a fraction of the energy needed by other technologies.

What it's all about

  • Identifying and developing business opportunities in existing markets as well as new markets with relevant market players (focus on B2B)
  • Technical and commercial discussions with clients/partners as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients/partners
  • Stimulating and assisting in technological development and commercialization (IP, industrial proof-of-concept, marketing, etc.)
  • Driving strategic business projects through planning, structuring, organizing and documenting
  • Support management with key data and insights on market dynamics and opportunities
  • Creating strategic alliances among similar but non-competing businesses
  • Preparing projects and presentations for decision making


Requirements

  • M(B)A in Business Administration, Finance or related fields and/or MSc in Tech fields
  • Experience in Project Management processes (end to end)
  • International working experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills 
  • Hands-on mentality


We offer a competitive salary for a full-time position, flexible working hours, and possibility of virtual shares. Work can be either carried out remotely or at our HQ in Vienna. You may be required to visit our customers and partners both locally and internationally.
